Cable Cover

Cable cover is used to protect buried cables from damage by digging but also to protect the people digging from contacting the live lines.  There are three styles of cable cover available to the market, 3mm thick, 5mm thick and AS/NZ 4702 compliant.  Available in various widths, TransNet cable cover identifies there are buried cables underneath.

Made from recycled plastic with a high HDPE content, TransNet cable cover not only thinner and lighter than others on the market, it is consistently strong enough to comply with the requirements outlined in AS/NZ 4702.  Contaminant free post manufacture waste is collected from around New Zealand by Astron plastics and recycled in one of their two New Zelaand factories - Auckland and Christchurch.
