TransNet NZ Ltd Partners with Prostate Cancer Foundation of NZ
At TransNet NZ Ltd we are active participants in as well as supporters of our community, and the issues that affect a predominantly male-centred industry are also of concern to us. As such, we are proud to announce a partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand in conjunction with the launch of our new Well-Hung Support Bracket.
Designed and manufactured here in New Zealand, facilitating the quick and painless installation of electrical and data cables on metal formed and wooden ceiling and wall battens, the Well-Hung Bracket makes the perfect companion to the Prostate Cancer campaign. The bracket clips or screws to a multitude of batten profiles and trusses, ensuring cables are contained safely within the bracket catchment rather than landing in the batten tray - risking electrocution from screws penetrating up through them. The health of our customers is always a top priority, and the Well-Hung Bracket ticks all the boxes in that category.
Our General Manager Ed Cheeseman has signed an MOU with the CEO of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Graeme Woodside and a donation from every Well-Hung bracket sold will be given to Prostate Cancer New Zealand, helping them fight a disease that over 3000 Kiwi men are diagnosed with each year. In addition, we will be taking Prostate Cancer Foundation information with us on roadshows and other events to be made available to anyone who is interested. We hope our contribution will help ensure that all our friends and family in the electrical industry stay well-hung in more ways than one.
