As per the EEA Guide To Portable Equipment For Work On Or Near Conductors,  VDD’s shall be supplied with or incorporate, a proving device.   The TNPD is the perfect solution, used to test your Voltage Detection Device (VDD) is working as it is intended and give the peace of mind that workers safety is taken care of.

Some VDD’s have a self test mode and in some models this only proves that the electronic circuitry is working, not the overall integrity of the VDD; i.e., That the VDD is in fact detecting Voltage.

This proving device uses basic 12 V DC input and converts it to 230 V AC.  When you adjust your VDD to detect this voltage it allows you to make a positive test and prove your VDD is actually working.

A simple, cost effective and easy to use device.
