Cadweld Plus Molds

Because the CADWELD® PLUS process uses a high temperature reaction of powdered Copper oxide and Aluminium the mold needs to withstand these high temperatures. In order to achieve this heat they are made of semi permanent graphite and should last for more than 50 welds if properly cared for and maintained. Many different connection styles are available for a variety of applications.

• Consists of a tamper proof, disposable, moisture resistant welding material cup. The welding material, disk and ignition source are incorporated into the self-contained package.
• Long shelf life
• Completes welds at distances of up to 1.8m with standard lead
• Requires minimum components - no starting material, no disks, no flint igniters
• Easy to handle, store and transport by air, land or sea in unlimited quantities
• Reduces installation time by 20%
• Has the colour coded weld material containers, by size and alloy type
• Electronic ignition via battery powered controller box that is designed for 600 connections with one set of 8 x AA batteries (included)
• Designed for use in standard CADWELD molds including CADWELD MULTI
