Earth Bonds
Description
An Earth Bond is a prefabricated assembly consisting of a copper receptor which acts as a preferential bonding earth point on a cast structure or a cast member either for earthing or stray current application and a piece of conductor, connected to the copper receptor by an nVent ERICO Cadweld connection. The conductor is then connected to the structure on site using nVent ERICO Cadweld or another connection method.
Earth Bonds are embedded in the concrete structure during the pour so that only the round surface of the copper earth point is visible while being perfectly flush and protected by the concrete surface.
Earth Bonds, Wricon’s or Earthbridge assemblies as they are often referred are available with a bare tail or a plate.
Made from a high-quality conductive earthpoint (connecting terminal) and various types of conductors. The nVent ERICO Cadweld exothermic connection process is used to combine them together, forming a highly corrosion resistant and long-lasting assembly.
