Mechanical Bi-Metal Friction Welded Lugs - BLMT-B
Description
The TE range of BLMT-B lugs are specifically designed for use in harsh environments, where cable terminations are used in an outdoor application when connecting to copper droppers and or copper busbars.
The design of the BLMT-B lug has the same lug barrel design as the standard BLMT lug and will cater for both Copper & aluminium conductors for the main cable conductor design. The lug consists of a tinned copper palm that is friction welded to the lug barrel.
The tinned copper palm allows for a trouble free connection when connecting directly to copper especially fin outdoor applications.
