Holding Strengths for ALL Neoprene Deadends for both PVC Covered Conductors and Neutral Screen Conductors are Limited Tension Deadends. Because of the number of variables associated with rating strength of this type of fitting (conductor size, number of cores, insulation thickness, etc.), it is impracticable to imply a rating as a proportion of the UTS of the conductor. In many applications the strength of the fittings will exceed the UTS of the conductor. |
