As the newest member of the TUDS family, this range of flat pack, modular pits offers a solution for installations across multiple industries around the country with either class C or class D ratings. Choose the appropriate lid based on your requirements from the table below.
CLASS C LIDS
Class C lids are designed for use on residential roads and car parks where slow moving vehicles will be present, they have a nominal wheel loading of 5000kg, serviceability design load of 100kN and an ultimate limit state design of 150kN.
Class C lids are available to fit any of the TUDS modular range, when ordering please choose a Class C rated lid from the table below if that is what is required.
CLASS D LIDS
Class D lids are designed for use on major roads including motorway shoulders, and areas with heavy vehicle traffic like warehouse yards and loading docks. They have a nominal wheel loading of 8000kg, serviceability design load of 160kN and an ultimate limit state design of 240kN.
Class D lids are available to fit any of the TUDS modular range, when ordering please choose a Class D rated lid from the chart below if that is what is required.
